Flyering key locations?
Dist202 visit (Raina) Neither of the youth from Dist202 or Alex have gotten back to Raina about setting up a visit for us on Monday, the 22nd. Spoke with the interim director who was really excited about making connections with other programs. Curfew hasn’t been a concern. Youth bus tickets… like SMYRC, they have them available for homeless youth, but they don’t really have money or room in their budget to transfer them. They can set up a table at the event and provide bus tickets to youth at their table. If Raina hasn’t heard from the 2 youth he suggested by the end of the week, she’ll call him back.

Money prizes are for the most tobacco prevention awesome one.
Contestants are encouraged to develop performances with tobacco prevention message themes, including:

d. Budget update
Funding committee update:
Trophies: There won’t be trophies, but Susan’s still working on a couple of ideas. She’s getting one for each category. Maybe a lamp from IKEA or a plaque style frame. Maybe digital or poloroid camera photos.
Could we also contribute gift bag items?
E talked to the steering committee about having goodie bags for performers at about $15 each, maybe including a $5 Starbucks card. They okayed this & want us to send information about how much that would cost. And needing volunteers for the ball & folks to bring donation items. Susan: conference bags could be used for the bag.
We can all chip in little things like stickers & temporary tattoos from our programs.
